About Us

SmashWood was born in 2016 during a long drive back to Alabama from visiting family in Florida. Instead of staring at iPads and watching movies during the drive, our mom challenged us to write stories in our new journals and to create something. Kole sketched designs of socks, while KJ sketched shirts. After hours of drawing and picking at mom about how she yells "Smash It" each time either of us were up to bat, KJ blurts out "we should create and company named SmashWood" and Kole adds "to sell my crazy sock designs". We haven't gotten to the crazy socks yet but we're excited to introduce our Discipline Leads to Destiny shirts and SmashWood hats to all baseball fans.
